The Church of
Opportunities
The International Bible Baptist
Church is a service-oriented Church with a desire to see all its
members faithfully serving the Lord. We offer a lot of
opportunities to those people who love to worship and serve God by
faith. We have been referred to as the “Church with a Heart
for souls” and by God’s grace, we want to stay
committed to this trust. We also make good on our promise that we
will continue to be one of the “friendliest” Churches
in the East Bay.
As a first time guest to IBBC, our friendly ushers will hand you an
information card to fill out. It is not to snoop in your private
lives but to “know you better to serve you greater”. If
you need more information about our ministry, please do not
hesitate to ask and to talk to our friendly Church staff. It is our
hope that you will make IBBC your spiritual home.
Sunday school classes are available for all ages, so you can bring
all members of your family. Our classes start at 9:30 until
10:30am. We follow a graded, bible-based curriculum taught by our
dedicated teachers. We encourage you to ask questions during the
sessions and we will try to provide satisfactory answers as the
Word of God directs.
Nursery care is provided for your infants. We do have qualified
nursery workers to take care of your babies while you listen to the
Word of God.
Worship services begin at 10:30 until 12:30pm. You will enjoy the
heart-warming, God-glorifying congregational music, Special music
that will comfort your weary souls, and an old fashioned preaching
from God’s word.
Prayer Meeting is conducted every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. We gather
your prayer requests and with the participation of the Church
members, we bring your requests to the throne of God’s grace.
This is followed by the Institute hour, featuring our young
preachers-in-training expound the Word of God. Finally, another
hour of Bible Study time is given with an expositional study from
the Pastor.
Home Bible Studies are being conducted nightly in different
locations. We are sure that we have one in your neighborhood, so do
not hesitate to inquire. We provide Home Bible Study to help edify
the faith of God’s children and to win the unsaved
neighborhood and love-ones to Christ.
All Church visitations is on Thursdays at 7:00 pm. This is a great
opportunity for Christians to serve and to have on-the-job training
in Soul-winning, follow-up visitation, and discipleship.

the young people some sports activity such as basketball,
volleyball, chess, ping-pong, and bowling.
For those who would like to learn more about the Word of God, The

teaching and preaching ministries. The classes are held regularly
on Saturdays at 8:00 to 10:00 am and 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Other classes

IBBC provides an excellent academic experience for your school-age
children. Using A-Beka curriculum, we provide instructions from
Pre-School to Junior High School through our own, the International
Bible Baptist Academy, which is recognize as a accredited
institution of learning in the states of California.
International Bible Baptist Medical Mission is the newest addition
to our growing ministry. It is currently led by our own Dr. Rolando
Simeon as medical director. Its purpose is to provide community
medical services to the needy here in the States and other
Countries. The Lord has blessed IBBC with several medical
practitioners such as doctors, dentists, and nurses to provide the
services.
As a community outreach to the local community, IBBC has organized
the FLAME/Abot-Palad Social Services Program, providing services to
the homeless and people in need of counseling. We also provide
meals during Thanksgiving and Christmas to benefit the
hungry.
To reach the hearing impaired, IBBC will also begin a Deaf Ministry
in the near future.
What is IBBC all about?
The International Bible Baptist Church was established as a
Bible-believing, Independent, Fundamental, Missionary-minded, New
Testament Church that takes a strong stand on Separation from
immorality and from the influence of ecumenism. We have the
inspired, infallible Word of God as our main textbook and guide and
the only source of our faith and practice.
It is the goal of this ministry to carry out the mandate given by
the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28: 18-20, which has the
three-fold commands:
By making disciples through the New Birth.
By baptizing the saved ones in the Name of the Father, the Son and
the Holy Spirit.
By teaching the believers to observe the whole counsel of
God.
Our desire as the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is to edify and
strengthen the faith of the believers to be like Christ, the only
model and master. Another goal is to promote Christian fellowship
based on the standard of the Scriptures and faithfully administer
the Scriptural ordinances of Baptism and the Lord’s
Supper.
For World Evangelism, we established the International Bible
Baptist Fellowship & Missions to spread God’s Word to the
World. We are what the Bible describes as “peculiar
people” with the following statement of faith:
The Bible as the plenary and verbally inspired Word of God,
preserved for our use through the years to come. (II Timothy
3:16-17; II Peter 1:19-21; Matthew 24:35)
That salvation is God’s grace alone through repentance and
faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. (Acts 20:21; Ephesians
2:8-9)
The virgin birth of Christ. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23)
The Atonement through the blood of Christ. (Hebrews 9:22)
That there is one God and in the Unity of the Godhead there are 3
persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are
one.
The Humanity and Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. (John 1: 1,14;
Hebrews 1:8; Colossians chapter 1)
The personality and the work of the Holy Spirit. (John 16:7-11;
Genesis 1:1-3; Ephesians 1:13-14)
The personality of Satan – the deceiver, the tempter and the
reality of sin. (Isaiah 14:12; Ezekiel 28:14-17; Revelation
12:10)
The eternal joy of the saved in heaven and the eternal damnation of
the unsaved in hell. (Romans 6:17-18; I Corinthians 15:22;
Galatians 3:10)
The local, independent, fundamental New Testament Baptist Church as
the kind of Church Jesus established during His earthly personal
ministry. (Matthew 16:18)

Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 5:1-11; Revelations 3:16)
The literal and bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The doctrine of election and the Sovereign Grace of God. Our
Salvation is through God’s choosing and prerogatives alone
and that man’s responsibility is to answer God by faith,
which also comes from God.
