Free Gift of
Salvation
The most important thing you should
know
That you are a sinner. Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come
short of the glory of God."
That the penalty of sin is death and hell. Romans 6:23, "For the
wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord."
That Jesus paid the penalty for your sin on the cross. Romans 5:8,
"But God commendeth (demonstrated) his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Ask for forgiveness of your sins, believe and receive Christ, you
will be saved. 2 Peter 3:9 "The Lord...is long-suffering...not
willing that any should perish, but that all should come to
repentance."
Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord
shall be saved."
You can use the following prayer as a model prayer: "Dear God, I
realize I am a sinner and I deserve to be condemned. Thank you for
sending your Son, Jesus Christ to save me. Lord Jesus, I believe
that You gave Your life for me on the cross. I believe that You
died and rose again for my salvation. I ask you to please forgive
me of my sins and I receive You in my heart as my Saviour. I accept
your gift of eternal life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer and really meant it in your heart and
that you placed your trust and faith in the Lord Jesus to save you
, the Bible says,
You are now saved. Romans 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with
thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God
hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the
heart man believeth unto righteousness; and the with mouth
confession is made unto salvation."
You are now forgiven of your sins. 1John 1:9, "If we confess our
sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to
cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
You now have no condemnation. Romans 8:1, "There is therefore now
no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not
after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
You are now a child of God. John 1:12, "But as many as received
him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them
that believe on his name.".
